    One of our key publicly traded biotech clients in South San Francisco is looking for immediate help in their Human Resources and People Operation department. This Senior Manager will join an HR team of 3 and report to the Head of HR/People Operations. The assignment will last 6 months with possible extension after the period.

    The client is looking for someone who can handle mainly strategic initiatives in their People Operations providing key analytics, compliance, collaboration and communication in the areas of HR, Benefits, HRIS, and Reporting Analytics.

    Highlights of Some Responsibilities:

    • Partner with Head of People Operations to manage strategic projects and initiatives
    • Help with a huge influx of Leaves of Absence and work with employees on request
    • Evaluate and manage the benefits program of the company to ensure the offerings are competitive, communicated, and rolled out in an efficient and easy to understand manner.
    • Strong technology skills to create reporting and analytical reports for executives through the use of ADP Workforce Now
    • Develop retention programs to keep employees happy which include event planning for outings, team building events, check ins, and a solid communication channel for requests, issues, concerns, as well as praises and shout outs!

    Key Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in a Biotech/Pharma industry
    • If no industry experience, the ability to translate past experience into the company's environment and needs
    • Strong HR analytical experience including the use of the reporting and analytical modules inside ADP Workforce Now.
    • Strong understanding of LOA laws and regulations as well as keeping up to date with various different Employment and HR laws
    • High interest and experience in developing strong employee retention programs
