Who They Are:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Accountant to join the team of our leading real estate client. There, you will find excellent mentorship, stability, and a financially strong company. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily financial activities of the company. The ideal candidate will have construction or development experience.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the completion of financial statements for multiple assigned entities and projects
• Prepare entries and ensure daily activity is recorded
• Mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of portfolio
• Assist with accounting aspects of dispositions, reviewing contracts, preparing closing statements, etc.
• Calculate and ensure gain
• Meet and coordinate with project managers to ensure period-end accruals are estimated and recorded in a timely manner
• Work with Accounting Manager to determine the appropriate time to relieve job cost

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting
• Strong process and controls knowledge
• Experience working for a real estate company
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is highly desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel is required
• Strong attention to detail and process
