Job Scope: We are looking for a marketing, blogging and social media intern who can accelerate our vision of going viral with our new iOS app Pinyada! The ideal candidate must be interested in mobile apps and social media, and have experience with marketing, being part of small teams, blogging, and producing strong social media content that can help generate interest in the app. The right candidate is one who is motivated by a unique opportunity to create something grand from nothing!

Responsibilities

• Create and manage content across all major social platforms
• Develop innovative social media experiences to increase engagement
• Research and expand community through industry influencer outreach efforts
• Implement multi-channel paid social media campaigns to drive traffic to the Pinyada app.
• Analyze social engagement and paid media to report on KPIs and optimize performance
• Create engaging content through copy creation, graphic design, and editing
• Lead A/B testing initiatives for social media campaigns
• Build brand awareness and engage with customers on social channels

Qualifications:

• College students majoring in Marketing, Advertising, or Business
• Highly collaborative with knowledge of social media campaigns and project management
• Hands-on expertise with social media campaigns on Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of seniority
• Self-starter able to deliver high-quality results while working in a fast-paced "startup within a public company" environment

Availability:

• Full-time, throughout summer of 2018 8-10 week internship
• Our office is located in downtown Birmingham, MI
• This is an unpaid internship.
