    We are seeking a Project Manager Estimator to join our team!

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Assist with on-site project team to ensure project success

    · Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines

    · Responsible for schedule development and implementation, work planning, and issue identification and resolution

    · Responsible for RFI and submittal process

    · Review daily field reports for accuracy reconciling labor, material, equipment and payment quantities.

    · Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues

    · Conduct meetings to successfully identify safety concerns and exposures in adherence with company safety program

    · Monitors work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel

    · Monitors profit and loss statements on a monthly basis and maintains them throughout the project

    · Schedules, supervises and attends internal and external pre-construction and post-construction meetings

    · Collaborates with client/owner on a regular basis to maintain great relationships

    · Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, bid tabulations, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports and the job costs system into unit cost, man-hour and crew production figures.

    · Review proposal specifications and drawings, prepare lists of bid items and quantities. Attend pre-bid meetings and meet with owner to determine scope of work.

    · Performs or coordinates quantity takeoff, assembles direct cost estimate and analyzes alternate construction methods to determine cost effectiveness.

    · Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, value engineering or availability of materials.

    · Supports Project Team by estimating extra work items and change orders.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent. Continuing education in construction is highly desirable

    · Minimum of 2 years of construction management experience in estimating, operations, or engineering required. Experience in utility work is a plus
