Main Responsibilities:

Help Guide the crew towards goal achievement.

Plan, and organize daily work.

Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.

Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.

Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.

Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment is completed.

Interact with customers to explain work procedures necessary at the worksite/residence.

Handle minor customer complaints and inquiries. Escalate issues to the superintendent or general foreman if necessary.

Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of interior and exterior gas piping.

Be a competent spotter for excavation activities

Familiarity with turning off and on gas.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Successfully pass customer-required computer-based testing (Operator Qualification courses).

Work Schedule:

Typically, Monday to Friday with 10-12 hour workdays (Weather Dependent).

Occasional work on Saturdays may be required.

Occasional travel is required; we prioritize staying as close to 'Home' as possible, but flexibility is essential as we must go where the work is

No work on Sundays.

No work on most calendared holidays.

Required Qualifications:

1+ years underground utility gas construction experience.

High level of personal integrity and accountability.

Valid driver's license with clean driving record and a DOT physical or ability to obtain one upon employment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualification.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of gas construction experience.

Relevant certifications in plumbing, gas fitting, or fusion.
