Job Title: Pipe Layer / Underground Utility Construction Worker Location: Multiple projects/locations in central Florida Job Type: Full-Time 7AM - 3:30PM Reports To: Site Supervisor / Foreman

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and experienced pipe layer to join our construction team. The pipe layer is responsible for installing and repairing underground pipes for storm drains, sanitary sewers, and water mains. This role involves working in trenches and following safety procedures while operating heavy equipment and tools.

Responsibilities: • Install, align, and connect underground pipe systems (water, sewer, storm) • Read and interpret blueprints, site layouts, and grade stakes • Grade and level trenches using laser or transit levels • Cut and fit pipes using hand and power tools • Check slopes and elevation of installed pipes to ensure proper drainage • Backfill and compact trenches after pipe installation • Operate or assist with equipment such as compactors, and trench boxes • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE • Communicate with supervisors and crew members to coordinate work • Perform general labor and site cleanup as needed

Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in pipe laying or underground utility installation • Knowledge of pipe types, sizes, and installation techniques • Ability to read grade stakes, plans, and blueprints • Experience working around heavy machinery and in excavation sites • Able to work in outdoor environments and confined spaces • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
