Job Title: Pipe Support Engineer
Location: Ogden, UT
Cimarron is seeking a Pipe Support Engineer to locate and design supports for various piping systems and perform associated calculations using GT Strudl for the Sentinel program in Ogden, UT.
Cimarron is proud to support the Northrop Grumman/Bechtel team in the design of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system, the Sentinel, for the US Air Force. Sentinel is a vital Department of Defense program that modernizes the nation's aging Minuteman III ICBM weapon system, which is the ground leg of the US nuclear triad. As part of Bechtel's team, we provide launch system design, construction, and integration.
This is an onsite position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e. every other Friday off), paid overtime, and a great work/life balance. For candidates not local to the Ogden area, a relocation allowance can be provided.
Key Duties:
Utilize knowledge of common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC and ASME B31.3.
Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
Perform work in a 3D model environment.

8 or more years of related experience.
Ability to review/approve piping layouts & support requirements per DoD standards/ASME B31.3.
Familiarity with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC & ASME B31.3
Hands-on experience using a stress analysis program.
Prior experience working in a 3D model environment.
GT Strudl for support/frame analysis experience, or a similar tool.
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
Active Secret clearance.
Previous DoD project experience for Risk Category 5 facilities.
Hands-on experience using a structural frame analysis program.
P.E. Registration.
Previous Bechtel project experience.
