We’re looking for an experienced Wet Utility Pipelayer with a good work ethic, a history of consistent attendance, and great physical strength and stamina to join our team. You’ll work under our construction manager’s direction, alongside a close-knit team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, to bring our construction plans to life. The ideal candidate will have previous construction experience, be OSHA 10 certified, and have knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment. Responsibilities: • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience • Must be knowledgeable in a variety of sizes/types of water, sewer, and storm drain pipe • Must be able to read plans • Must be able to read and interpret survey staking • Must be proficient in using a laser and a builder's level • Able to assemble and install fire hydrants, backflows, meter boxes, etc., to the correct elevation • Must have knowledge of retention systems such as CMP, chambers, and concrete vaults • Strong understanding of soil types and proper excavations Qualifications: • Need to be OSHA 10 certified • This position relies on physical strength and stamina • Past construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans are required • Able to work in harsh weather conditions Compensation: $24 - $30 hourly
