5 Tool Performance is a baseball development facility with 17K sq ft. of turf and gym space. We are conveniently located off of 3 majors intersecting highways in Westwood, MA.
We are looking for an experience baseball instructor/coach who played at the College Level and can bring their experience, insights, knowledge to the pitching arena. We work with many philosophies and offer empowerment, cross training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base in biomechanics. You will have a team to support you from a gym perspective.

Job Summary
We are seeking an outgoing and energetic pitching Coach to join our 5 Team team! As an instructor, we ask that you create lesson plans, share and weigh in on various pitching styles and approaches, programming, provide and share timely, professional feedback, understand how to integrate metrics with gut feel, communicate and guide our clients and their families, and work closely with our team.
Responsibilities
Design and create age-appropriate workouts focusing on technique, endurance, skill development, and drills. We have a strong baseline so need you to execute.
Proactive in creating a client following
Lead structured, well thought out lesson plans
Provide positive feedback, guidance, and encouragement
Customize learning paths to suit each players abilities
Communicate with parents/guardians and players
Follow all health and safety guidelines
Embrace and Improve the 5 Tool culture of learning and evolving
Assist with all administrative matters relating to teaching and communicating.
Qualifications
Previous experience coaching players is preferred
Comfortable with speaking to and educating parents
Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred but not required
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Understands how to built trust and relationships
