    Director of Learning, Development, and Engagement

    Overview of Role:

    The Director of Learning, Development, and Engagement, part of the Human Resources team, will create, implement, and oversee development programs and strategies for over 350 employees, aimed at enhancing growth, satisfaction, and retention. This position will focus on fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Development and Training:
    • Develop and implement innovative training programs and curricula to address skill gaps and encourage continuous learning.
    • Use various training methods, such as e-learning, workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training, to cater to diverse learning needs.
    • Create and manage leadership development programs to enhance management capabilities and prepare future leaders.
    • Develop and oversee employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, employee surveys, and wellness programs.
    • Establish and manage mentoring and coaching programs to support employee growth.
    • Ensure effective use of performance management systems that support both employee development and organizational goals.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep training programs current and effective.
    • Oversee the budget for learning and engagement programs, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
    Collaboration and Culture:
    • Identify training and engagement needs collaboratively to create tailored learning and engagement solutions.
    • Work with subject matter experts to ensure training and engagement content is accurate and relevant.
    • Promote a positive workplace culture through initiatives that encourage diversity, equity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging.
    • Drive engagement through internal communications, events, and activities that support a collaborative and motivated workforce.
    • Communicate development and engagement initiatives effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Act as an advocate for employee feedback, using surveys and other tools to measure satisfaction and address concerns.
    Metrics and Analysis:
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of development and engagement programs.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, providing insights on program impacts and suggesting improvements based on data analysis.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 7-10 years of experience in employee development, engagement, training, or related HR roles.
    • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and delivery, as well as training evaluation methodologies.
    • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful development and engagement programs.
    • Knowledge of current best practices in employee development, performance management, and employee engagement.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically while executing tactical plans effectively.
    • Proficiency in HR and learning software, platforms, and tools.
