We are a dynamic B2C company seeking an Art Director who embodies creativity, leadership, and a profound understanding of the soft lines industry, including apparel, accessories, and home goods. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our licensed products and ensuring our marketing efforts resonate deeply with our audience.

    Your Role:

    As the Art Director, you will be the visionary force behind our brand's visual presentation, orchestrating compelling campaign visuals and defining a distinct visual language for our diverse brand portfolio. Your creative expertise will not only inspire your team but also drive the strategic direction of our marketing content across multiple channels.

    This role would ideally be based in the Cleveland, OH area working on a hybrid schedule of three days in the office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Visual Leadership: Craft and manage a cohesive visual strategy that enhances brand recognition and aligns with our strategic objectives, setting the tone for our marketing campaigns and product launches.

    • Creative Campaign Development: Develop innovative marketing concepts that bring our brands' visions to life, ensuring consistency and impact across all platforms.

    • Marketing Calendar Oversight: Create and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar, prioritizing projects and initiatives that drive long-term brand success.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-departmental teams to execute marketing initiatives seamlessly, fostering a culture of creativity and teamwork.

    • Trend Analysis and Innovation: Keep abreast of global marketing trends and digital innovations, integrating fresh ideas and technologies to keep our brand ahead of the curve.

    • Design and Direction: Lead the design process from concept to completion, providing clear direction to artists and designers to ensure high-quality and consistent outputs.

    • Influencer and Content Strategy: Build a network of influencers and direct marketing content that aligns with our brands, engaging our target audience effectively.

    Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree in Graphic Design or related field.

    • 7+ years of experience in a design leadership role, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in campaign design, typography, color theory, and layout.

    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a solid understanding of digital marketing channels, web design, and e-commerce.

    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaborative skills, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

    • A creative thinker who can both envision the big picture and dive into hands-on design work when needed.
