    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated HR Manager.

    Location: fully onsite in Talladega, Alabama

    HR Manager Responsibilities:

     

    Other Information:

    • This HR Manager will have two direct reports and will be responsible for mentoring them.

    • Previous experience managing direct reports is needed.

    • They will be responsible for weekly check-ins with the team, therefore strong communication and responsiveness vital.

    • Fixed working hours to follow manufacturing schedule (ET 7am - 3pm or 8 am to 5 pm).

    • Experience within manufacturing settings preferred.

    • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
    • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Analyze existing human resources processes, identify gaps in current systems, and participate in resolution projects.
    • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
    • Apply project management procedures and best practices to HR initiatives.
    • Responsible for communicating HR system
      evaluation or implementation updates throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Fulfill onboarding and offboarding needs at a corporate level, and will have some support from the 2 direct reports on this

    HR Manager Qualifications –

    • Proven experience as an HR Manager handling personnel matters, incidents reports, and other day to day HR tasks
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
