    Senior Programmer Analyst II - Guidewire

    We are currently seeking an Applications Developer - Guidewire for our Springfield, MO location! This position is responsible for the writing and testing of software code related to our Property and Casualty Claims Administration System.

     Responsibilities

    • Manage projects as assigned involving Guidewire configuration and development.
    • Work with internal customers to design, develop make program and or configuration changes.
    • Program Guidewire UI and Rules and/or integration development utilizing Guidewire ClaimCenter.
    • Unit testing and debugging
    • Relational database design
    • Update technical documents as required.

     Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree with a major in computer information systems or engineering.
    • Seven or more years of development experience working in the insurance and/or financial industry.
    • Highly motivated and ambitious, excellent communication skills, creative & critical thinker.
    • Continual learning and improvement in the understanding of software capabilities and programming languages is essential.
    • Strong skills associated with the design, development, modification and deployment of software, including object-oriented programming concepts. Strong J2EE, XML, SQL, or other object-oriented programming language knowledge and experience.
    • Experience implementing web services and APIs.
    • Familiarity and working knowledge of SQL Server Database.
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter is preferred.

     Candidates with less experience and/or education may be considered for a different level commensurate with their qualifications.
