    We are a 3rd generation family owned business looking to add to our maintenance team at our Ogden manufacturing facility!

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager with the maintenance of properties, facilities equipment and mechanical systems to support operational effectiveness. This is a proactive Maintenance position as maintenance is a top priority and we value our maintenance staff and provide growth opportunities!

    Schedule: MON-THURS; 6:00 AM-5:00 PM

    Pay: $25-30/hr (DOE)

    Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

    • Respond quickly for Maintenance requests to keep all machinery operational and functioning. Our machines are a top priority at our business at all times. If parts are necessary, get them here timely so our machines are operating without delay.

    • Be sure to follow schedule for regular maintenance and upkeep of property.

    • Perform preventative maintenance processes daily to ensure reliability and effectiveness,

    • Always follow & implement best practices for facility maintenance and repairs.

    •Identify weak points in equipment & assist to develop & resolve.

    • Be sure facilities and dock/outdoors are maintained. (Snow removal etc. during winter).

    • Follow schedule, assigned tasks and duties by Maintenance Manager and be sure to communicate when parts and supplies are low.

    • Ensure all work is in compliance with OSHA & other local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations.

    • Maintain established quality standards for all processes. Set high standards of performance for self and check tasks for accuracy and quality.

    • Keep detailed log of equipment and tools purchased, serial numbers for inventory.

    • Help coordinate and manage support from external service providers.

    • Provide regular status updates of maintenance for repairs & provide written detailed maintenance reports to Maintenance Manager. Complete any other reporting as necessary.

    • Actively participate in facility safety initiatives.

     

    Maintenance Technician Qualification:

    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

    • 2-3 years of maintenance experience

    • Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.

    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing facilities, machines and equipment. Preferably production equipment or knowledge of pneumatics.

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Forklift certification and experience preferred
