    We are looking for someone with a passion for food and strong time management abilities who can provide clients with an exceptional dining experience. Our restaurant is busy, and we need a competent and experienced line cook who can ensure that our meals are made precisely to guest orders while still following our standard recipes consistently. To work a variety of stations on any given shift, our line cook must be adept in poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, and frying. You need to be a team player who can effectively communicate with other kitchen staff to keep things running efficiently. Responsibilities: • Establish a system of food stations and stock them with all of the necessary ingredients for the shift • Prepare food orders on the line by cooking items to order, grilling, broiling, sauteing and meet all presentation guidelines and follow standard recipes • Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management • Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations • Demonstrate professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates • Craft authentic, delicious pizzas with meticulous attention to detail, consistently exceeding customer expectations. • Expertly handle dough, from preparation and stretching to shaping and baking. • Master the operation of our wood-fired oven, ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection. • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. • Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure seamless service and exceptional dining experiences. • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. • Contribute to menu development and special pizza creations. Qualifications: • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Proven experience as a Pizza Maker, with a strong understanding of dough handling and wood-fired oven operation. • A genuine passion for pizza and a commitment to culinary excellence. • Excellent teamwork and communication skills. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
