    Job Requirements:

    A Senior Architect is responsible for ensuring that the design and construction of a building meet high-quality standards. They work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to make sure that all aspects of the building meet local codes and regulations, as well as the owner's requirements. This role will have many focuses and will be a leader in our studio. Some specific responsibilities and focuses of this role include Quality Assurance and Quality Control of processes and documents whether internal or external, administrative or project-related you will be tasked with ensuring processes are implemented that will result in the highest standard of drawings and quality for our team and clients. Project Management will also be a part of your responsibilities, including coordination with external consultants, setting client expectations, management of resources to ensure that budgets and deadlines are met. Mentorship of less experienced and unlicensed staff, teaching and mentoring team members to help us build an all-star team and propel Business Development.

    The job responsibilities of a Senior Architect typically include:

    1. Reviewing and analyzing construction plans and specifications to ensure they meet quality standards.

    2. Collaborating with the Design and Production teams to develop quality standards and guidelines.

    3. Conducting on-site inspections of construction sites to ensure that work is being done according to plans and specifications.

    4. Developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.

    5. Identifying and resolving quality issues and communicating them to the construction team.

    6. Providing guidance and training to construction teams on quality control procedures.

    7. Reviewing and approving construction documents, including plans, specifications, and reports.

    8. Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities and documenting any issues that arise.

    To be successful in this role, candidate needs a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, be a Registered Architect, have 8+ years of experience in Design and Construction Administration, as well as several years of experience in quality control in the construction industry. They should have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve problems quickly.
