Your Role as a Project Manager/Project Architect:

As a Project Manager/Project Architect with PLACE designers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our designs and construction projects surpass all standards of excellence. You'll be at the heart of our dynamic team, collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction experts to ensure that every facet of our projects adheres to local codes, regulations, and our client's requirements. This role will focus on Project Management responsibilities such as subconsultant coordination, client coordination, managing resources within the production team all to ensure that deadlines and budgets are met. In addition you will have QA/QC & ITR responsibilities within our studio, on your projects that you will be responsible for from SDs through Construction Administration and Observation.

Key Responsibilities:

Precision and Perfection: Reviewing and analyzing construction plans and specifications to ensure they meet quality standards.

Quality Craftsmanship: Developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.

Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving quality issues and communicating them to the construction team.

Empowerment: Provide invaluable guidance and training to our dedicated construction teams, empowering them with your expertise in quality control procedures.

Stamp of Approval: Review and approve construction documents, including plans, specifications, and reports.

Accurate Records: Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities and diligently documenting any issues that may arise, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Team Synergy: Work hand-in-hand with our Design and Production teams, actively contributing to the development of quality standards and guidelines.

On-Site Excellence: Conduct thorough on-site inspections, ensuring that construction work is executed in line with plans and specifications.

Qualifications for Success:

To be successful in this role, candidates needs a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, be a Registered Architect, have 5+ years of experience in Design and Construction Administration, as well as several years of experience in quality control in the construction industry. They should have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve problems quickly. Experience and knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam and other Industry standard software is required. Experience in commercial and multi-family project types is preferred.
