Reputable Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm handling high-value cases is seeking a highly-skilled, motivated Personal Injury Attorney with experience in either plaintiff's personal injury or bodily injury defense litigation to join its OCALA OR G AINESVILLE offices. (We prefer "in office" but we can evaluate you for a HYBRID REMOTE arrangement!).
We have offices in Gainesville AND Ocala so you could choose whichever office you prefer to work out of.
We handle car accident, trucking, motorcycle, and premises liability cases.
IDEAL CANDIDATE will have 2 + years experience as a Plaintiff's or B.I. Defense Attorney in FL. However, we will consider 1st Year Attorneys AND Attorneys from other practice areas who want to transition to Personal Injury. NO BILLABLE HOUR REQUIREMENT.
BASE SALARY: $80,000 to $160,000 per year (dependent on your experience). Case Settlement Bonuses as well.
JOB DUTIES include working up smaller and high-value cases from initial pleadings, written discovery, depositions, mediations, and trials. Should have strong research and writing skills, including using West Law and Lexis. Will be expected to meet with clients, draft demand letters, prep for court hearings, argue substantive motions, preparing MSJs (and responses), writing detailed legal memos, settlement negotiations, and managing all files assigned to you. Should be highly detail-oriented, independent, organized and able to multi-task.
