Summary:
The Regional Human Resource Manager plays a key role in driving the culture throughout the organization serving the organization through exceptional HR Services focused on employee growth, development and an overall great workplace experience. This HR leadership role, serves in an HR Generalist capacity with knowledge and experience in numerous HR functions including: employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, workers compensation, employee development, leadership coaching. The Regional HR Manager provides a high level of HR service by forging strong relationships with Regional and Club level leaders across numerous Planet Fitness clubs in the designated territory.

Responsibilities:
Develop strong, positive relationships with club leadership throughout the designated territory by providing an exceptionally high level of HR service with prompt, thorough and expert guidance
Support and guide leadership by providing direction, advice and counsel regarding employment and personnel matters
Ensure that Local/State/Federal employment regulations and standards are followed and responds to regulatory inquiries (EEO, HRC, DOL, etc.)
Provide training related to HR practices and leadership development
Manage the investigation and resolution processes for employee relations situations
Support NFP/PF’s company culture by demonstrating core values of: Teamwork, Positivity, Integrity, Passion, and Accountability.
Utilize the HR information system to collect, prepare and analyze HR data to identify opportunities to improve retention and enhance employee experiences
Partner with field leadership to build a culture that fosters employee retention, growth and development
Interpret and apply HR policy and procedure to ensure practices are fair and consistent across the organization.
Assist leaders with performance coaching, evaluation and development processes
Guide the interview and selection processes to assist leadership in attracting candidates, interview processes and selection practices.
Develop, revise and implement HR Policies and Procedures as needed
Assist with the orientation and assimilation for employees in new and acquired Planet Fitness Clubs
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (required)
PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP (required)
5 years of experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partner capacity
Ability to pro-actively identify problems and take action with limited oversight
Strong experience investigating employee relations matters
Demonstrated business acumen
Previous experience supporting multi-location operations
Ability to travel on a daily basis to Planet Fitness Clubs in the designated region (limited overnight travel)
