Our Job Opening:

We are searching for a Facilities Technician to join our team! As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing day to day maintenance service to Planet Fitness cardio and strength equipment, ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Successfully repair out of order equipment as outlined by supervisor and requested by clubs.

Communicate with gym managers to solve and repair complaints or failures.

Assist other maintenance team members as needed.

Maintain company vehicle inventory and cleanliness.

Report to supervisor on a daily basis status on progress and obstacles.

Maintain and update work schedules in Outlook.

Utilize and update Issue Trak system.

Accurately document any work done on warranted equipment.

Qualifications:

Must have a “clean” driving record and valid driver’s license.

Mechanical and electrical service background highly desired.

Responsible and a “self-starter”.

Works well alone and with others.

Good customer service skills and a highly effective communicator.

Possess basic computer skills.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

Bending and kneeling while preforming services.

Able to lift over 50 lbs.

Lifting and moving of cardio and strength equipment.
