OVERNIGHT CLOSER AND CLEANERS (MIDNIGHT MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE, 3rd Shift) are vital to creating an environment where everyone belongs! (10PM-6AM)

Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.

No fitness experience necessary!

HELPING PEOPLE (20%): Contribute to changing people’s lives every day by helping us create a healthier Planet!

Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.

Handle all front desk related activities including phone calls, member check in, new member sign-up, tour prospective members, and facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.

CLEANING (80%): We are serious about a clean gym for our members!

Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms locker room areas nightly

Wipe and detail fitness equipment and gym floor

Thoroughly clean and sanitize tanning and massage beds and stock locker rooms with proper supplies

Qualifications/Requirements

Customer service background.

A passion for fitness and health.

Upbeat and positive attitude!

Punctuality and reliability is a must.

Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.

Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.

Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.

High School diploma/GED equivalent required.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights)

Continual standing and walking, continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.

Will encounter cleaning chemicals, and need to use cleaning chemicals, during shift and occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.

Must be able to regularly lift 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 80 lbs.

Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms, occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift.

Regular use of backpack style vacuum and mopping during shift.
