Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Status: Full Time, Exempt
Baseline Fitness is looking for an experienced Vice President (VP) of Marketing to direct and oversee our Marketing department. This position will be responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals.
Our ideal candidate has an extensive Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques. Our VP of Marketing will report directly to the COO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and Coordinate all Company Marketing functions
Build, manage and coach a high-performing Marketing team
Research and develop strategies and plans’ which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing and new project development
Own and execute call to action growth strategies; develop a strategic approach to marketing which capitalizes on our brand and image.
Translate your strategic marketing plan into actionable quarterly targets and initiatives
Analyze, evaluate, and optimize marketing plans based on companies KPI’s
Effectively report results of marketing campaigns to the executive leadership team
Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets
Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the COO and executive leadership team
Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for market forecasts and reports
Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communication channels
Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Requirements
Proven work experience as senior level and/or VP of Marketing
Demonstratable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns within the consumer services market
Effective knowledge of SEO/SEM, Facebook/Instagram, web analytics and Google Adwords
Extensive experience managing marketing agencies
Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communications skills
Strong analytical and project management skills
Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
BSc degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
Master’s degree in marketing preferred
