Job Summary

The Day Custodian will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize locker rooms

Stock locker rooms with paper products

Take proper safety precautions when working with cleaning and supplies

Report any broken amenities, such as hair dryer, iron, etc. to Assistant/Club Manager

Thoroughly clean and sanitize gym floor and equipment, including but not limited to tanning rooms, Total body Enhancement rooms, hydro massage beds, massage chairs etc.

Various special tasks may be assigned by club management such as cleaning fans/vents, vacuuming, painting walls, cleaning mirrors, etc.

Turn lost member property in to Assistant/Club Manager promptly

Qualifications/Requirements

Customer service background preferred.

A passion for fitness and health.

Upbeat and positive attitude!

Punctuality and reliability is a must.

Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.

Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.

Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.

High School diploma/GED equivalent required.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

Continual standing, bending, and walking during shift.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
