    The Project Manager for Club Operations will oversee the execution of projects inclusive of new openings, remodels, and major renovations. This position will represent the Taymax Planet Fitness brand through the latest standards, guidelines and processes, and be the conduit to execute these best practices for the field organization.

    This person will represent the values of both Planet Fitness and Taymax Group, and instill them to the field teams by executing at a high level through collaboration, communication, and project management.

    Partnering with cross functional partners is critical to ensure seamless execution of the club projects and will need to collaborate well with leadership of various departments inclusive of Construction, Marketing, Development, and Field Teams. The successful candidate will continually strive to influence their peers, cross functional partners, share best practices, and learn new skills.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    Establish and oversee a club projects strategy and standard that aligns with Taymax’s Internal Global Operations strategies.

    Partner with key cross functional teams, including marketing, human resources, facilities, finance, IT, development and construction to create programs and communications that deliver on the business goals of Taymax Group.

    Inspire and Motivate the club teams throughout the duration of the project.

    Gain input from cross-functional business partners including Field leadership and club leaders/teammates to contribute to the success of the club projects.

    Create strong partnerships with field leadership and HQ teams, and act as an advocate for clubs.

    Create project plans to ensure all milestones in a club project are met.

    Drive accountability through setting expectations and following up with both field and head office partners.

    Ability to train large teams on best practices and new implementations.

    Establish relationship and partnership with field leadership to have trust in execution of projects.

    Ability to influence partners to drive the best interest of the field and business.

    Other duties as assigned based on the business needs.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Office, Excel and SharePoint; Sway preferred.

    Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and differing priorities in a constantly changing and demanding environment using excellent organizational, communication, negotiation and scheduling skills.

    BA/BS Degree required and three to five years of experience.

    Back office operations and/or field experience required

    Project management skills preferred

    This position will be required to travel, as needed. A presence may be needed at each club project, with travel totalling up to 50%.

    This position is required to talk in person or on the phone. Ability to continuously stand or walk, bend, squat and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. This job is subject to a variety of physical conditions when in the club environment. This job also operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, fax machines.
