  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our team! This position will play a key role in supporting the overall HR systems and processes while also helping to drive continued improvement across HR programs. The HR Generalist will have insight into all areas of Human Resources including benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, talent management, and maintenance of our HRIS and employee files.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Administers various HR plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

    Advises and counsels management on matters pertaining to on-boarding, employee relations, retention, performance management, policy interpretation and labor laws.

    Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, increase employee engagement, morale, change management, and increase productivity and retention.

    Participates in all stages of recruitment including job description writing, sourcing, scheduling and interviewing.

    Supports the annual performance management process, developing communication, and compiling and tracking information.

    Assists in the administration of benefit plans and the open enrollment process.

    Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports from the database.

    Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

    Performs other related duties and ad hoc projects as required.

    Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required and 4+ years of Human Resources experience.

    Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to manage sensitive situations with a high level of confidentiality.

    Analytical skills and the ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Proficiency with HRIS databases such as ADP Workforce Now and ATS databases such as CareerPlug.

    Ability to work in a demanding environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing projects and demands.

    Ability to work independently, plan effectively and produce results.
