The Human Resources Coordinator/Analyst will provide administrative support for the day-to-day human resources operations for our locations throughout the US and Canada. This position will assist with employee inquiries, new hire paperwork, maintaining files, training, reporting, and benefits administration.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
Respond to employee inquiries via e-mail and phone in a timely manner and manage the Human Resources inbox
Review and process new hire, status change, and termination requests in the HRIS database, working closely with payroll to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner
Maintain employee files, run reports and conduct audits as needed
Assist with benefit and COBRA administration
Review and process background checks and process follow up notifications as necessary
Enter and track certifications, obtaining documentation to ensure compliance
Assist with data entry, reporting, and additional projects as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1-2 years of experience working in an HR department
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a remote work force
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Analytical skills and the ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a demanding environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing projects and demands
Workday experience a plus
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
