What You'll Be Doing

The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for the overall guidance and financial success of their region. The RD has responsibility for retention of talent, creating an environment that fosters customer loyalty and one that improves organizational performance and stakeholder value. You will lead through the lens of people, core values, and mission first. Our formula is simple: happy team happy members = happy Planet.

You are leading a team to strive for the nation’s leading fitness outcomes and continuously improving year after year. You will inspire approximately 5-8 direct reports. They will join you in the quest to providing 1% service to build Raving Fans and operational excellence.

Collaborate with leaders in the Support Center, Planet Fitness Headquarters and local communities to maximize market leadership and organically grow new & mature clubs to exceed revenue and profit goals.

5 years of experience in a leadership role serving within a geographically-dispersed, fitness, restaurant, or retail multi-unit business.

3 years of senior operations leadership experience with direct P&L accountability for generating $30M annual revenue.

3 years of experience opening 10 units annually.

Proven ability to lead multiple locations with a team of 500 teammates.

Ability to travel as needed.

An undergraduate degree in business, finance or another appropriate curriculum.

Special consideration will be given to candidates with an MBA or appropriate post-graduate degree.
