WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Human Resources Manager will work as a business partner to support field leaders and cub level teammates to provide multi-unit HR support to include investigating and resolving teammate escalations with a focus on teammate impacts. This encompasses planning and implementing the life cycle of employment from talent acquisition, coaching, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. The HRM will lead through the lens of people, core values, and mission first. Our formula is simple: happy team happy members = happy Planet.
Provide counsel, feedback, and coaching on broad ranging topics and issues including business operations, process, and all teammate related actions that enhance growth of the individual and performance of the club and districts.
Coach club and field leaders utilizing company values, through coaching process, conflict management/resolution, corrective action procedures, and labor law compliance.
Work closely with field leaders to help create, implement, and manage the people plan to align with business objectives.
Conduct and document investigations pertaining to labor laws and harassment and discrimination complaints in accordance with our mission and values, company guidelines, and provide recommendations for appropriate resolution of investigations.
Visit club locations with field leadership to identify trends and issues, provide guidance and coaching to club leaders on all HR related matters.
Work systematically to diagnose problems, analyze data, identify root causes and recommend solutions for HR related business issues; develop creative and innovate solutions for improvement in partnership with the HR Director.
Support the talent management/succession planning process and plan for areas to build capability, diversity, manage performance, retain and grow talent.
Participate in business leadership meetings as a strategic partner to identify teammate impact for development, performance management, talent management) relative to business strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline.
5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, including employee relations and investigations, general knowledge of compensation and benefits, staffing and recruiting, and training and development; HR certification a plus.
Experience in retail or fitness industry and working with multi-site management preferred.
Knowledge of effective HR practices, methods and processes in employment law and employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
Able to develop strategic working relationships with leaders and act as a strategic partner on all people related decisions.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work in a fast paced, growth culture with a high adaptability to an ever-changing environment.
Willing to travel periodically travel to the various markets.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Human Resources Information Systems.
Competence in making timely, effective decisions with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with teammates at all levels.
