About the Role:As our Director, Field Corporate Operations, you will direct and oversee the Orlando, FL area by modeling the values and supporting the culture of Planet Fitness. Key responsibilities include driving financial results, talent management, strategic leadership, operations management and promoting an exceptional member experience through impactful leadership.

The ideal candidate must already reside within the Orlando, FL area and will be able to travel 100% of the time throughout the area, including some nights and weekends.

As our Director, you will partner with multiple teams within the organization to create, deliver, and uphold Planet Fitness’s Corporate Club success.

The Leader

Demonstrate effective time management through quarterly calendar planning that is inclusive of field visits and strategic planning opportunities with the HQ network.

Build strong relationships across all functions within HQ to collaboratively leverage their support for the Corporate Clubs. Be the voice of the clubs.

Have excellent interpersonal skills with an engaging, motivational style that is centered on coaching and team building.

Adapt communication style to all levels within the organization. Be clear and concise.

Invest in your self-development through a structured development plan.

Is an effective role model of the Planet Fitness culture and core values: Integrity, Transparency, Passion, Respect, Excellence, While Having Fun.

Be an advocate for change initiatives to the field.

The People

Foster a culture of learning and development.

Identify leadership competency gaps and work collaboratively with OPS and HR on targeted training opportunities.

Collaborate with HR on a comprehensive talent management program that includes the identification of key talent, succession planning and structured development plans that support career growth.

Promote a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, coaching to the expectation and provide constructive feedback.

Conduct individual weekly calls with RM to support the business and promote their personal development.

The Business

Collaborate with Corporate Clubs leaders in developing and communicating a strategic vision that enhances Corporate Club priorities and supports company goals.

Drive financial results, region to region, using key performance indicators as a tool to optimize performance and profitability. Work closely with region/club leadership to develop business acumen.

Join forces with Marketing on plans to drive net member growth, including local marketing efforts.

Seek continual improvement of programs, policies and processes that impact the club.

Collaborate with Finance, Construction and Facilities on capital expenditures needed to uphold brand standards of excellence. Oversee EMS.

Inspire Regional Managers and Club Managers to be focused on optimizing day-to-day operations through their Team Members.

Be proficient in all operations procedures and PF programs; including ABC, FRM, JobVite, DataTrak, PFU and CPR.

Exhibit an innate curiosity and a contagious “can do” leadership style that inspires confidence and collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Outshine at leading, collaborating, and empowering team members and colleagues through respectable influencing.

About You:

Ability to travel approximately 100% of the time. Some evenings and weekends required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred

5-10 years of experience managing multi-territory retail operations

Experience implementing continuous operational enhancements

Strong business acumen with P&L responsibility; proven track record of success

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Demonstrated leadership, indicating earned respect and trust in your relationships among all levels of a business, both internally and externally

Drives change initiatives with an aptitude to learn on the fly

Strong ability to influence others

Dedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growth

Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives
