    Planet Fitness World Headquarters is searching for a Human Resource Business Partner, Corporate Clubs to join our team!

    The Human Resource Business Partner, Corporate Clubs, will be responsible for aligning the HR strategy with business objectives by working with employees and management to ensure our teams and business units thrive. In this role, you will act as a partner to management on business issues with a goal of improving the support structure and working with leaders to influence and support decisions on organizational planning and development, communications and compliance.

    As our HR Business Partner, Corporate Clubs, you will work across all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, employee relations and engagement, compensation, talent review, training, performance management and professional development.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Formulate partnerships between HR, and field based employees and management to deliver value-added service that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

    Partner with field managers to maintain organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.

    Travel to remote markets to tour clubs with field managers to collaborate on people related needs.

    Identify training needs for regional units and participate in the implementation of programs and initiatives.

    Ensure engaging onboarding practices are in place for new employees to maximize productivity.

    Act as point of contact for employee relations. Manage and resolve standard employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees in the resolution of employee-related problems.

    Support and drive performance review planning including employee check-ins, adherence to timelines, communications, coaching, career development and performance improvement plans.

    Work collaboratively with HR support teams to ensure the effective development of transparent, meaningful and accessible training, tools and resources to enable and support employee careers.

    Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks ensuring regulatory compliance.

    Ensure consistent policy implementation and adherence. Oversee and administer updates to all HQ policies and procedures (i.e. Insider Trading documentation tracking, HQ Employee Handbook updates etc.).

    Run and analyze a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.

    Assist the Human Resources Manager to collaborate with leadership by providing input on team evaluation, succession planning, compensation, benchmarking, etc.

    Assist in implementation of employee engagement surveys, feedback sessions and action planning.

    Influence change management initiatives with operational leaders in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance, increase morale and build the overall talent capability of the organization.

    Qualifications/Skills:

    BS/BA degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent experience.

    4-5 years of experience in Human Resources. 2 years of relevant HR Business Partner experience.

    Strong business acumen with a proven background working in a consulting/coaching capacity with management.

    Strong understanding of HR programs including organizational planning and development, compensation, performance management, and talent review.

    Strong background supporting employee relations. Comfortable having difficult conversation, asking challenging questions, and acting as a facilitator for resolving conflicts between parties and getting to a place of understanding.

    Flexibility to be proactive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

    Solid understanding of employment laws and their impact on people and human resources.

    Demonstrated strategic thinking, creative problem solving and organizational leadership skills.

    Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing demands.

    Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and communication/customer service skills.
