    Planet Fitness World Headquarters is searching for a Sr. Compensation Analyst to join our team!

    The Sr. Compensation Analyst will play a pivotal role in the annual compensation planning process. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting business units with their compensation requirements. This includes salary and bonus administration, overseeing the merit process as well as long-term incentive plans and job evaluation. As our Sr. Compensation Analyst, you will serve as the primary lead for company-wide pay equity analyses. You will partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and department leaders to deliver comprehensive program management and strategic guidance on all compensation related programs.

    The Sr. Compensation Analyst acts as the expert on compensation trends in the external market and ensures that Planet Fitness’s positions are appropriately aligned for internal equity and external competitiveness.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Oversee compensation as it relates to leveling jobs, analyzing market data and proposing sound recommendations to hiring managers, maintaining internal equity and adhering to company compensation practices and philosophies.

    Analyze and evaluate new and existing job descriptions to determine appropriate market rate, FLSA status and alignment within internal structure.

    Assist in the execution of the annual merit review process.

    Conduct audits on all ADP information (including titles, pay, shift differential etc.) to ensure all data is consistent and accurate.

    Analyze compensation metrics and develop compelling dashboards and reports for executive leadership to provide insight, identify trends, and monitor the business.

    Participate in Compensation surveys and perform analysis to determine competitive position in the market.

    Collaborate with executive and department leadership to deliver data driven business recommendations on how compensation strategy could lead to improved results and higher ROI.

    Assist in development, preparation and distribution of compensation communication materials.

    Develop and document procedures to streamline processes, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Stay current on federal/regional/market changes as it relates to compensation changes.

    Qualifications/Skills:

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, HR or related field.

    Minimum 5 years of Compensation experience required.

    Certified Compensation Professional credential preferred.

    Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ADP.

    Interest in analyzing data, with the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making.

    Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details.

    Comfortable analyzing and reporting data.

    Solid written communication and consulting skills.

    Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

    Ability to interact with senior level executives.

    Solid understanding of compensation practices and trends.
