And we’re just getting started!The PF Headquarters Development team is searching for an Associate Project Manager, Construction Compliance – Western US Region About the Role:

    As our Associate Project Manager, Construction Compliance, you will be responsible for managing the planning and tracking of all remodel project aspects for Planet Fitness franchise clubs in the Mid-Western and Western Regions of the United States. You will maintain construction schedules and oversee key construction milestones to ensure remodel projects are completed on time.

    To be successful in this role, you will use your strong organizational and time management skills to manage projects, plan and establish priorities, and work within deadlines and budgets. You will be focused on ensuring ongoing franchisee compliance.

    The right candidate will reside in the Western half of the country, within 60 miles of a major airport and will be able to travel extensively throughout the Mid-Western and Western Regions of the United States.

    Overall, as our Associate Project Manager of Construction Compliance and reporting to the Sr. Manager of Construction Compliance, you will work closely with Franchisee partners, general contractors, vendors, and architects, as well as internal Planet Fitness teams such as Legal, Real Estate, and Equipment to ensure projects are compliant and completed on time.

    In this role you will:

    Travel to clubs for compliance audits (approximately 50% travel with up to 70% of the time)

    Oversee the development of clear and accurate remodel scopes of work to Planet Fitness specifications, ensuring ongoing franchisee compliance.

    Manage and communicate remodel requirements to franchises and agree on scope of work to be completed as needed.

    Enter remodel project scope into our data tracking system, including completion dates and any applicable notes

    Maintain reports related to capital expenditure costs in conjunction with remodel scopes.

    Analyze project data and deliver project update reports to functional areas as required, including Legal, Real Estate, Equipment, and the Pre-Opening Project Management teams.

    File, organize, and maintain remodel photos to uphold efficient record keeping.

    Maintain and communicate construction schedules between general contractors and franchisee partners.

    Oversee construction activity and make time-sensitive decisions related to club remodel completion dates.

    Assist pre-opening project managers as needed.

    Work with the Development team to complete additional duties as needed.

    Collaborate and work closely with Franchisee partners, general contractors, vendors, and architects, as well as internal Planet Fitness teams such as Legal, Real Estate, and Equipment to ensure projects are compliant and completed on time.

    About You:

    Ability to travel to Planet Fitness locations in the Mid-Western and Western Regions, required

    Willing and able to travel approximately 50% of the time, with up to 70% of the time, required

    Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred

    1-3 years of experience managing and administering time-sensitive projects

    Vendor management experience, most specifically working with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors, preferred

    Experience in the restaurant/retail industry within a franchised organization, a plus

    Demonstrated abilities to make independent decisions and quickly and effectively solve complex problems

    Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Salesforce experience, a plus

    Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills

    Strategic relationship builder with the ability to think creatively

    Excellent project prioritization skills, including demonstrated ability to manage a project, plan and establish priorities, and work within deadlines and budgets

    Particularly detail-oriented, efficient, and extremely organized with an ability to establish priorities and objectives

    Exhibit confidence, ease, and flexibility working in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
