    About the Role:

    As our People Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of HR Operations including the managing administration of the HR database, application of policies and procedures, and the development and administration of employee training and onboarding programs.

    To be successful in this role, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills. You will perform a broad range of human resource related duties, including, but not limited to HR technology, reports/analytics, employee training, recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle, departmental compliance, and special projects, as required.

    Overall, as our People Operations Specialist and reporting to the Manager, People Operations, you will provide an essential function within the Human Resources team, ensuring the quality of the employee experience.

    In this role you will:

    HR Technology

    Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all employee action transactions.

    Ensure data integrity and administrative compliance of data entry in adherence to payroll cycles and deadlines.

    Focus on producing quality and quantity of work with accuracy and attention to detail.

    Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR technology system upgrades

    Reports/Analytics

    Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.

    Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.

    Ensure and maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

    Employee Training

    Participate in Corporate HQ and Corporate club employee training needs.

    Develop operational training documentation and present training to employees and audiences as required.

    Recruitment, Onboarding, & Employee Lifecycle

    Support the Corporate Clubs with recruiting efforts by ensuring jobs are posted correctly in the Applicant Tracking System and the hiring workflow is operating seamlessly.

    Responsible for staying up to date on changes that happen in various jurisdictions and making system updates on application forms, policies and documents as needed.

    Manage all activities and processes related to the employee lifecycle including benefits, employment changes, onboarding, and off-boarding of employees.

    Manage and administer new hire documentation, ensuring process are in line with SOX compliance.

    Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures and provide timely, accurate and thorough responses.

    Partner with payroll on pay related transactions including payroll changes and adjustments.

    Departmental Compliance

    Responsible for meeting quality control review expectations and compliance with SOX requirements.

    Identify opportunities for improvement in existing operations and provide timely feedback and pertinent recommendations to HR Management.

    Exercise independent thought and judgment in ensuring that all HR documentation is updated and properly communicated.

    Assist in maintaining updated employee documentation including job descriptions, policies, employee handbooks and other pertinent employee communication materials.

    Special Projects

    Participate in special annual projects as required such as New Club Openings, Acquisitions, Open Enrollment, Flu Clinic, Wellness Programs, Volunteer Committee Events, etc.

    About You:

    BS/BA degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent experience

    Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

    HRIS system experience, ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

    Ability to creatively solve problems and demonstrate initiative and innovation

    Proven organizational skills and ability to focus upon priorities and work well in an environment with competing demands

    Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal, and communication/customer service skills

    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

    A proactive, high energy, can-do, positive attitude with effective and efficient customer service mindset!
