As our Salesforce Developer, you will design, develop, and implement key technical components in our Salesforce implementation environment that are being used by both corporate staff and franchisee personnel to manage the sophisticated store opening processes and larger franchisee relationship. As our Salesforce Developer, you will have an opportunity to work across a growing number of Salesforce solutions alongside an established Salesforce team to contribute to and deliver on an evolving Salesforce strategic roadmap. You will work with business stakeholders and Franchisees across multiple functional areas within the organization, often playing several different roles within a project lifecycle, guiding business users, and developing and delivering quality work products. This is a hands-on role that requires prior technical experience with Salesforce.com and related cloud technologies.
In this role you will:
Responsible for all aspects of software development lifecycle from initial customer request, researching best solution, testing, and implementation on assigned project work
Hands on design and development of custom solutions on the force.com platform specifically significant work in Apex, VisualForce, Force.com, SOQL, Triggers, Migration Tools, API integrations and Communities
Serves as the technical subject matter expert and implementer on Salesforce CRM, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud development projects
Direct involvement of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration and testing, and administration
Document logical and deployment architecture & maintain development environment
Ensure appropriate code coverage is maintained for all environments
Develop logical and high quality code which meets functional specifications along with technical requirements for reusability, maintainability, and scalability when appropriate
Ability to work off-hours and provide on-call support as needed
Collaborate with and mentor junior team members
Thoroughly and concisely document business processes and technical solutions.
Responsible for interpreting system releases and updating departments in partnership with Salesforce Project Lead
About You:
BS degree in related field
5+ years of experience designing, developing and managing custom Salesforce.com solutions
Well versed in architecting and testing solutions to ensure they are optimally built and adhere to known Salesforce best practices including when to leverage native Salesforce solutions vs custom, governor limits and test coverage patterns
Lightning Community/Experience Cloud experience required
Strong object-oriented development skills
Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification (or equivalent experience)
Sharing and Visibility Designer Certification (preferred)
Data Architecture and Management Designed Certification (preferred)
Experience working in a retail or franchise business Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products
Ability to creatively solve problems and demonstrate initiative and innovation
Proven strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences successfully and professionally
Effective time management skills with proven ability to juggle both personal goals as well as the goals of the junior team members
Proven organizational skills and ability to focus upon multiple priorities and work well in an environment with competing demands
Strong ability to build and manage internal relations through direct and positive communications
Demonstrates integrity and authenticity
