*OUR MAIN HQ IS LOCATED IN LOS ANGELES, CA (IN CALABASAS). IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO CALABASAS, OUR SAN DIEGO CA OFFICE OR WOODRIDGE, ILLINOIS ALSO. THIS POSITION WILL ONLY BE REMOTE DURING COVID CIRCUMSTANCES AND WOULD THEN BE AN ONSITE POSITION AT ONE OF THESE THREE LOCATIONS, ONCE OUR OFFICES REOPEN.

As a member of the FreePrints team, you will write code for our Android applications. You will help us to develop best of breed solutions for our Android apps around the world. This is an exciting role with opportunity for career growth and personal growth in coding/tech skills.

OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a senior level Android engineer who wants to join a growing group of mobile engineers in our Calabasas office.

You are a good fit if:

• Your code is solid. It’s well written, self-commenting and always assumes the worst. You care about writing structured, readable and well-designed code, while following best practices.
• You have experience mentoring more junior level developers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• YOU HAVE 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS AN ANDROID DEVELOPER WORKING ON RELEVANT, ECOMMERCE, CONSUMER FACING APPLICATIONS.
• YOU HAVE BROAD EXPERIENCE CODING ACROSS THE ANDROID PLATFORM APIS AND HAVE PASSING TO EXPERT LEVEL FAMILIARITY WITH THE ENTIRETY OF THE API.
• EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING CUSTOMER FACING, COMMERCIAL ANDROID APPS.
• MUST KNOW JAVA WELL, OUR APPS ARE NOT IN KOTLIN.
• EXPERIENCE CONSUMING RESTFUL WEB SERVICES.
