    SUMMARY:

     

    This position will be responsible for supporting the Personal Creations Merchandising Team in meeting departmental and company objectives. Responsible for all administrative details of the merchandising process and acts as a liaison between departments and other cross- functional areas in the company to ensure all timelines are met.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Supports Merchant in managing item level detail in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. Reviews and proofs final product build details and vets all fields for accuracy. Coordinates product build handoffs across channels (PC, PC-UK, FPG, Amazon).
    • Manages item set up process and accountable for accuracy in build process. Includes all aspects of item setup: pricing, personalization detail, recipe creation, images, etc. Vets new product spec forms for accuracy and uploads into PLM. 
    • Input copy direction in PLM, provide direction on specs, product dims, personalization type, and character count. 
    • Assist with ad-hoc reporting, competitive analysis, deck reviews, merchandise line reviews and projects as designated by Merchant and any other duties as assigned from time to time. 
    • Coordinates feasibility sample management for Woodridge and San Diego. Merchandise Coordinator is accountable for all test run communication and ensures accuracy for FC hand-off. Responsible for checking samples for correct spec for personalization testing. 
    • Coordinates image requests with Merchandise Operations team for photo sample needs. Accurately labels all photo samples to send to photography. 
    • Accurately proof catalog and all channel Dev Audits for all new and relist items. Ensure all information is accurate and site merchandise has ‘best foot forward’ prior to site launch. 
    • Coordinates with Merchandising on Amazon Seller Central to pull data on keywords and selling trends to assist in future product introductions within Amazon wholesale. 
    • Maintains and organize samples in storage room, merch room and general areas.

     

     

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • 2-3 years of experience in a retail/merchandising or equivalent role.

    • Intermediate Microsoft skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Interest and high efficiency level with and maintaining accurate information in spreadsheets and other systems and data entry.

    • Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central a plus

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

    • Accountable individual who can quickly build trust and take on moderate levels of responsibility.

    • Team player, comfortable in building effective cross-functional relationships with business partners across multiple departments and locations.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Must be a Self-Starter with a passionate and resilient “can do” attitude.

    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

    • Must have strong attention to detail.

    • Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

    • Flexibility to work in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple priorities.
