About G3 Aerospace
G3 Aerospace is a fast-growing aerospace engineering and manufacturing company specializing in aircraft interior vacuum form components and assemblies. We support leading aerospace customers with precision manufacturing in a high-mix, low-volume environment and operate Fulcrum as our core MRP system.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Planner / Scheduler to own and drive production planning across our manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for translating customer demand into executable production schedules — balancing capacity, material availability, and shop priorities to ensure on-time delivery.
This position serves as the central coordination point between manufacturing, engineering, quality, and purchasing. While purchasing support is part of the role, the primary focus is planning, scheduling, and execution control.

- Release and manage work orders and job travelers through Fulcrum MRP
- Sequence jobs across work centers to optimize flow and minimize bottlenecks
- Monitor schedule adherence and proactively address late or at-risk jobs
- Perform capacity planning and workload balancing across departments
- Identify constraints and coordinate solutions with operations and leadership
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with manufacturing supervisors to align schedules with real-time shop conditions
- Coordinate with engineering on BOM accuracy, routing updates, and ECO impacts
- Partner with quality to ensure inspection and release timing supports production flow
- Communicate priorities, changes, and risks clearly to all stakeholders
Materials Planning & Purchasing Support
- Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and BOMs
- Identify material shortages and trigger purchasing actions
- Issue and track purchase orders as needed to support production
- Follow up with suppliers on lead times and delivery commitments
- Maintain planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, and safety stock
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Generate and maintain reports on:
- Open work orders
- Late jobs
- Capacity utilization
- Material shortages
- Support process improvements in planning, scheduling, and MRP utilization
- Help refine planning workflows to support company growth and scalability
