Position Summary:

The Planning Agent will be responsible for efficiently organizing and performing the tasks of the planning department and provides necessary support to execute planning operations.

Essential Functions:

Work with Planning Supervisor to enter Purchase Orders and Work Orders.

Create and Distribute Work Order Traveler Packets for Machine Shop, Mold Shop, and Assembly

Coordinate with purchasing, production, and other departments if necessary, regarding inventory, schedules, and related issues to ensure on time deliveries.

Work with Inventory Control Specialists to ensure materials are issued to Work Orders correctly.

Follow all safety guidelines as outlined in the company safety manual

Crosstrain and perform other duties as assigned based on organizational demand.

Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

High school or GED required.

Advanced computer skills and proficiency with the complete Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent Power Point and presentation skills

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

An analytical mind with good math skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Must be reliable and trustworthy
