A growing producer of bakery and snack products, is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations at our West Monroe facility. This role partners closely with plant leadership to drive accuracy, cost visibility, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Own plant-level accounting, month-end close, reporting, and budgeting
- Manage standard cost accounting and updates to BOMs/routings
- Oversee inventory control and cycle counts
- Conduct material and labor variance analysis and recommend improvements
- Perform spend analysis and track cost-saving initiatives
- Support forecasting, margin analysis, and cost optimization
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 5+ years in manufacturing accounting, ideally in the food industry
- Strong cost accounting and inventory experience
- Skilled in Excel and ERP systems
