We're passionate about protecting and enhancing our clients' landscapes, and we’re looking for a dedicated Plant Health Care Technician to join our growing team.

    Job Overview: As a Plant Health Care (PHC) Technician, you'll play a critical role in diagnosing and treating tree and shrub issues related to insects, disease, and nutrient deficiencies. You'll work closely with our PHC Manager and team to ensure landscapes are healthy, thriving, and protected throughout the season.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Apply insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers using various application equipment (truck-mounted sprayers, backpack sprayers, etc.)

    Inspect trees, shrubs, and plants for signs of pests, diseases, or other health issues

    Make recommendations for treatments based on site conditions and plant health

    Maintain accurate records of applications and treatments performed

    Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings or concerns professionally

    Calibrate and maintain application equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness

    Follow all safety and environmental protocols related to pesticide application

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in landscaping, arboriculture, or plant health care preferred

    Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire)

    Strong knowledge of local plant species, pests, and diseases is a plus

    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required (CDL a plus)

    Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

    Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

    Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
