What You’ll Do
✅ Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on plant equipment.
✅ Rebuild pumps (seals, bearings, alignment) and perform general pump troubleshooting.
✅ Execute pipefitting tasks, including fabrication, installation and repair.
✅ Support boilermaker work such as vessel inspections and pressure equipment maintenance.
✅ Maintain critical spare parts inventory and assist with procurement.
✅ Lead or assist with turnarounds, lockout/tagout procedures and confined space entries.
✅ Clearly communicate status updates and report issues to the maintenance team.
✅ Maintain safety and operational documentation in our work order system.
✅ Mentor junior maintenance team members and uphold plant standards.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
✔ Must-Have Skills
• Solid pump repair experience.
• A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
• Clear communication and strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Motivation to take ownership and contribute to a collaborative team.
✔ Preferred Experience
• 5-10 years as a pump mechanic in a refinery, chemical plant or industrial setting.
• Background in boilermaker work, rotating equipment and piping systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs, equipment diagrams, isometrics and vendor manuals.
• Familiarity with vibration analysis, preventive maintenance programs and turnarounds.
• Computer literacy (maintenance software, Microsoft Office)
Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Wear respiratory protection and SCBA if needed.
• Work in outdoor environments around noise, heat and chemicals,
