Our client a Tier 1 automotive supplier in Spartanburg, SC is seeking Plant Manager to lead all manufacturing operations including production, quality, materials, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and new product launches within a high-volume automotive environment.

This role oversees multiple product lines across OEM’s, commercial vehicle, and aftermarket segments and holds full P&L responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop production, quality, engineering, materials, and EHS teams
  

• Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement

• Own plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and profitability

• Partner with HR and finance on staffing, policies, budgeting, and operational controls
  

• Implement strong manufacturing systems, KPIs, and Business Operating System processes

• Support product launches, DFMA activities, and advanced quality initiatives

• Maintain ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 certifications
  

• Serve as key customer interface for plant operations and audits
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

• Proven senior operations leadership in automotive manufacturing (Plant Manager/Director of Operations level)

• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and OEM supplier portals
  

• Solid financial and P&L management experience

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings

• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and retain high-performing teams
  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (PLEX preferred)
  

• Experience in composites manufacturing is a plus
