This is a nationwide search for someone looking for a long-term leadership role as a Plant Manager. Key Responsibilities:
- Full P&L accountability for production, fabrication, assembly, paint, maintenance, and support functions
- Develop and execute production plans, labor strategy, and capacity optimization
- Manage capital equipment planning, layout, acquisition, and lifecycle
- Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance meet business goals
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Coach, mentor, and retain supervisors and managers to build leadership bench strength
- Partner with engineering, supply chain, and executive leadership on product launches and operational scalability
- Establish and maintain high standards for shop-floor discipline, organization, and accountability
We’re it if this is you:
- 8–10+ years leading multi-shift manufacturing operations (100+ employees)
- Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma certification with plant-level application
- Strong technical knowledge of fabrication, welding, assembly, and paint operations
- Proven track record of operational improvements, workforce development, and process optimization
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L budgets, and capital projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align plant operations with overall business goals
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred – Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field preferred
