Plant Manager - Window and Door Manufacturing - Base Salary to 150k/year - Georgetown, SC

• Our client is a plastics manufacturer specializing in profile extrusion serving the window/door/trim industry.
  
• The team is seeking a Plant Manager who will have complete oversight of facility operations including: production, fabrication, assembly, logistics, safety, quality, material planning, team development, and shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Drive operation excellence while supporting the team with new growth initiatives
  
• Assist with bridging the gap between R&D and manufacturing for new product lines
  
• Production planning and scheduling
  
• Inventory management
  
• Develop and maintain quality control system
  
• Participate in new product development and new product lines to launch into market
  
• Establish company metrics and production goals
  
• Maintain OSHA and other regulatory guidelines
  
• Assist with growth of team - hiring, training, continuous development

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in senior level management within window/door manufacturing industry with a heavy focus in fabrication and assembly
  
• Previous oversight of assembly and fabrication department is required
  
• Robust background in profile extrusion is preferred
  
• Complete understanding of running a manufacturing plant: production planning/scheduling, material planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, shipping, etc.
  
• Proven leadership abilities to strengthen and grow teams
  
• Familiarity with Six Sigma principles

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 150k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package. The team will also assist with relocation assistance and temporary housing to get to the greater Georgetown, SC area.
