Wright Technical Services is supporting a client in the process automation and instrumentation space in need of an Operations Manager to take over their team in Greater Indianapolis
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a lean conversion plan to foster continuous improvement and team alignment.
- Lead the operations management team overseeing Production, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
- Drive processes to meet key metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
- Collaborate with Global Industrial Engineering to adopt new technologies.
- Enhance supply chain effectiveness, particularly with Kanban systems and inventory management.
- Identify operational breakthroughs and ensure action plans are well-resourced.
- Oversee inventory planning and demand forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Streamline supply chain processes to reduce costs and enhance service levels.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in Supply Chain and manufacturing leadership, particularly in Machining, Metalwork, Welding, or Brazing.
- Proven experience with Continuous Improvement and excellent analytical skills.
- Motivated leader with a flexible approach, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle, and Power BI
