Plant Production Associate – 1st Shift

Location: Oberlin, OH
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring Plant Production Associates for a full-time, 1st shift position in Oberlin, OH. This is a hands-on role supporting plant production, order preparation, shipping, and general facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Plant and pot seedlings and plants
• Fill, label, organize, and move trays and products
• Prepare and assemble customer orders for shipment
• Attach hangers to baskets and move products using ladders
• Move plants and materials using carts
• Load and unload trucks and conveyor systems
• Lift and carry products weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Push and pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Assist with irrigation systems and water lines
• Use basic hand tools such as shovels, shears, and clippers
• Clean and maintain work areas, buildings, and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous nursery, manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in hot or cold temperatures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Reliable transportation and good attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to work
