Ecommerce Marketplaces Manager
Classification: Exempt
Reports to: VP – Marketplaces/Finance
Location: Twin Falls, ID Corporate Office
Job Summary:
As the Marketplace Manager at Plant Therapy, you will be responsible for all of the revenue, marketing and logistics involved in selling our products on 3rd party marketplaces including Amazon, Wal-Mart.com and a host of others. You’ll have deep experience in selling on Amazon and be an expert regarding the impact of photography, copy (SEO) and promotional activities on top-line sales. You’ll be analytical and strategic enough to view the business across multiple years/channels, and tactical enough to dive into the day-to-day activities required to maximize marketplace success for Plant Therapy. This role owns product setup, listing management, promotional activities, reporting/forecasting and the overall revenue/profit from marketplaces.
Essential Functions:
Lead multiple employees in the department while exemplifying the company values
Develop and implement an account strategy to achieve revenue, operational and profitability goals
Spearheading the department, manage online sales and marketing across multiple marketplaces, develop a cohesive marketing plan for short term and long term growth
Develop a detailed maintenance and improvement of listings on our various web marketplaces (title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.) to increase product ranking and buyer experience online sales and customer interfacing
Establish promotional strategies to drive traffic and execute marketing campaigns (Headline ads, lightning deals, etc) to increase revenue
Monitor, analyze and report on all campaigns including weekly and monthly reports on critical metrics (you will help establish) and ROI.
Connectivity with logistics performance and delivery KPIs to help ensure optimal product delivery performance.
With the Creative Director build and maintain our brand and customer experience on all marketplaces.
Work with the Supply Chain manager on developing and maintaining FBA stock levels for both domestic and international markets.
Build, maintain and evolve strong relationships with our marketplace and software partners
Grow existing partnerships through continuous analysis of account performance and identify new opportunities for revenue growth.
Identify international growth opportunities and develop a long and short term goals.
Work with Merchandising, Buying and Marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns
Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes and troubleshoot issues
Establish a by SKU product strategy on all marketplaces with A/B testing, analysis and campaigns
Team management
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years’ experience meeting/exceeding revenue goals on 3rd party marketplaces
3+ years’ experience in digital marketing field, PPC/SEO background highly valued
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to be deep in the data and to distill executive-level insights
Expert in both Vendor Central and Seller Central
Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to evolving priorities
Ability to effectively set priorities and manage a team to a successful outcome
Preferred Qualifications:
B2C ecommerce background
Proficiency in Google Analytics and/or other web metrics platforms
Familiarity with essential oils and natural/organic products
Management experience
