    Classification: Exempt

    Reports to: Creative Director

    Job Summary:

    The Designer is responsible for Creative digital and print design solutions for Plant Therapy’s various Marketing channels. They will be an important cog in the Plant Therapy Creative team.

    Essential Functions:

    Creating Design assets for a broad range of Plant Therapy’s marketing channels, including Digital, Social, Email, Print, and Retail.

    Actively participate in Creative discussions and ensure that all designs adhere to Creative Guidelines and Brand Standards.

    Must be able to take creative concepts, creative direction and early drafts and refine and finalize those designs as well as build out final assets based on those rough designs and direction.

    Must be willing to take Creative direction and guidance from the Creative Director and senior designers.

    Design, edit, proof and prepare all graphic files for print and web production from conception to completion (production-ready) across a variety of media including but not limited to print, web, e-mail, logo and brand identity and any other creative needs.

    Must be in tune with the latest Design trends and techniques.

    Coordinate with various internal and/or external leaders to develop creative ideas, while adhering to project deadlines.

    Have a working knowledge of directing photo and video shoots in order to meet the desired design goals.

    Understand the various design requirements, limitations and trends on web, social media and email platforms.

    Communicate effectively, clearly presenting ideas and creative solutions to gain understanding and buy-in.

    Have the ability to make decisions and solve problems while working within assigned deadlines.

    Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

    Work with the Creative Director to ensure brand guideline consistency in all campaigns.

    Perform other duties as requested by manager.

    Required Qualifications:

    One year of proficiency with Adobe products, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

    Excellent eye for design and intimate understanding of design trends.

    Enjoys and works well collaborating with other designers to achieve solid and well thought out experiences. No ego about your work!

    Proven ability to work in fast paced environment where demands and directions of work are changing, while managing several projects simultaneously.

    Required Education and Experience:

    1-year design experience along with a strong portfolio, 2 years design studio work experience preferred.

    Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, web design or related field required.

    Portfolio required.
