TITLE: QUALITY INSPECTOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Plastic Injection Quality Control Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of quality control processes within plastic injection molding operations. This role is critical to ensuring that our products meet the high standards of quality expected by our clients and industry.

RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:

• Determine all new production jobs meet customer requirements, (i.e. material, color, size, additives, assemblies, packaging, etc.).
• Assure operators are complying with in-process procedures, (i.e. trimming, assembling, packing, etc.).
• Verify any non-conforming material or product is corrected and documented.
• Maintain all samples for start-up and final product.
• Perform all customer mandated testing and related documentation.
• Interface with operators, lead persons, mold techs and Q.C Manager.
• Maintain all quality control documentation.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Must be able to read and write English legibly.
• Computer literate.
• 6 months inspection or operator experience.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must possess good communication skills and be able to interact with all customers and employees.
• ISO experience is a plus.
• Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Must be able to read blueprints and customer-related drawings.
• Must be able to use all inspection measuring devices (i.e. calipers, micrometers, comparators, bore gages, etc.).
• Must be familiar with quality practices and procedures (i.e. sampling plans, tolerance, functional testing, and visual inspection.)
• Must be able to document all aspects of quality procedures, including start-up, in process, final insp., notes, corrective actions, testing, labeling, etc.
