    Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at our facility located in Vancouver, WA, 98660. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between the office and production. This role requires strong accounting software skills, basic computer skills, and experience working in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of hazardous materials, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and shop math skills are also essential for success in this position.     Responsibilities

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials
    • Utilize accounting software (Quickbooks) to maintain accurate financial records
    • Inventory management and optimize supply chain processes
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
    • Maintains a comprehensive filing system of job folders, work orders, inspection sheets, plant maintenance records and tooling repairs.
    • Creation of new job folders with work orders, operator instruction sheets, material SDS, and known part specific information.
    • Observe and document initial test run quality and process details.
    • Compile information collected from multiple sources into easy-to-follow instructions.
    • Validates a work order’s readiness by verifying information is accurate and up to date.
    • Records and updates Quality Control guidelines as needed.
    • Manages quality control sample part and last shot inventory.
    • Close out production work orders to determine materials used in the production process.
    • Investigate material and inventory discrepancies.
    • Ensure compliance with outside agencies.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Proficient in using accounting software, specifically Quickbooks
    • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Familiarity with handling hazardous materials and adherence to safety protocols
    • Strong attention to detail and follow through.
    • Research Skills – Open to learning and seeks further understanding of new topics
    • Strong shop math skills for accurate calculations and measurements
